Description
"Hitsugi (Haru)"
PrismaColor Marker, White Charcoal, Pencil (mechanical)
(on marker paper)
19" x 24"
© 2009 Mari Takeyama
This was my first intricate J-rock portrait as well as the first time I experimented with art markers. I originally started and completed this piece my senior year of high school (2006-2007) as a part of my I.B. Art exhibit (accordingly themed "Asian-esque Art with a dash of Romanticism/Fantasy"). :3 Though it has a couple of overlayed white-out blotches (aka the official "BooBoo Blobs" ), I am very happy with the way it turned out. ^^
Since "Hitsugi (Haru)" was the one piece that inspired me to continue to draw J-rockers, I deemed him as my official logo for PROJECT J.R.F.A.: J-Rock Fan Art.
